Meeting young people where they are.
Not every young person will walk into a building and sign up for a session, so we go to them. Our outreach team works on the streets, in parks and in community spaces across Blackburn’s neighbourhoods.
Where we work
Our outreach focuses on Little Harwood, Bastwell, Shear Brow, Whitebirk and Roe Lee, alongside our base at Central Buildings in the town centre.
Million Hours outreach
Funded youth work sessions that bring positive activities directly into neighbourhoods, building relationships with young people on their own turf and in their own time.
Antisocial behaviour prevention
Working with young people at risk of being drawn into antisocial behaviour, offering better options and a trusted relationship before problems escalate.
Working in partnership
We work closely with local partners, schools and services so that young people get joined up support rather than being passed around. If you work with young people in these neighbourhoods and want to link up, we would love to hear from you.
